Beyond Bouldering is a popular indoor rock climbing centre located in Thebarton, on the outskirts of the Adelaide CBD. As a busy venue welcoming climbers every day, it relies heavily on consistent, reliable power to run lighting, equipment and facilities that create a great customer experience.
Supporting a Growing Business
Beyond Bouldering wanted to reduce their reliance on the grid and maximise savings on power consumption for their commercial business. A commercial solar and battery system was the ideal solution to cut costs while maintaining a reliable supply of power. The customer also requested that skylights on the western side of the roof be covered due to light pollution in that area, while all other skylights were left clear, a requirement factored into the system design.
A Tailored Commercial Solar and Battery System
MyEnergy supplied a streamlined commercial solar and battery system tailored to the site. The system features a Deye 29.9kW three phase hybrid inverter with high-voltage battery capability and 90 JA Solar panels mounted across the roof of the bouldering centre using the Schletter roof mount system. This commercial solar and battery system was carefully designed to maximise solar generation and ensure reliable performance while accommodating the building layout and skylight requirements.
