Step 1: Understanding Your Site & Goals

We start by understanding:

• Your current power usage (we’ll ask for recent bills)

• Whether you want solar only or solar + battery storage

• Key priorities: savings, backup power, daytime self-use, or VPP

• Any plans for future expansion (EV, larger loads, etc.)

Whether it’s a house in town or a dairy in the hills, our team will tailor the system accordingly.

Step 2: System Design & Ballpark Quote

From your info, we’ll:

• Design a system sized to your load profile and roof space

• Suggest appropriate inverter and battery options

• Provide a ballpark price for discussion and feedback

We’ll also explain STC rebates, export limitations, and VPP opportunities (if relevant).

Step 3: Site Check (If Needed)

For commercial systems or complex installs, we may visit the site to:

• Confirm roof type and condition

• Check switchboard layout and inverter location

• Ensure we comply with DNSP (SAPN, Powercor, etc.)

Straightforward residential installs often don’t require this step if we have good photos.

Step 4: Final Proposal

We’ll provide a full written quote outlining:

• Equipment details (modules, inverters, batteries, monitoring)

• System layout (roof design or ground mount if applicable)

• Total cost (inc. GST and STC rebates)

• Estimated payback, daily savings, and backup capability (if battery included)

For commercial installs, we can also provide ROI breakdowns or finance options through Energy Ease.

Step 5: Installation

Once you approve the quote:

• We lock in your install date and collect a 20% deposit

• Our in-house electricians install and commission the system

• We’ll take care of compliance paperwork, grid connection, and Wi-Fi setup

We don’t subcontract—we stand behind every install.

Step 6: Handover & Support

We’ll guide you through your system:

• Monitoring apps explained

• System behaviour and grid export settings clarified

• Any battery backup configurations tested (if included)

We remain available for support and future upgrades.
