The South Australian Government has launched a new round of Powering Business Grants, giving eligible businesses a chance to cut their power bills and save thousands. This state government initiative offers matched funding of up to $75,000 per business to invest in energy-efficient upgrades, including solar and battery systems.

These grants are available exclusively to businesses in South Australia, including commercial offices, industrial workshops, agribusinesses, farms and outback stations and they apply to both grid-connected and off-grid systems. Applications open in July 2025 for eligible businesses and not-for-profits with up to 199 employees.

Even better, the Powering Business Grants can be stacked with the Federal Government’s Solar Battery Rebate, giving businesses $370 back for every kilowatt-hour of battery storage installed, delivering substantial savings!
Whether you run a winery, manufacturing facility, piggery, dairy, accommodation or community club, this is the perfect time to invest in modern, reliable power solutions and reduce your ongoing energy costs.
As with all initiatives, there are some additional qualifying requirements for businesses. Chat with our team, we can help you through the process and ensure your business gets the most out of these rebates and grants.
