Tooperang is a small town best known for its unique geography and minimal light pollution, making it an ideal spot for amateur stargazing. Tooperang Hall regularly hosts the Astronomical Society of South Australia, where amateur astronomy enthusiasts enjoy the clear night skies. Even though Tooperang feels remote it is only 65 kilometers from Adelaide but there’s still no grid connection, so the MyEnergy team were called in to provide a off grid power system for a new build!
To provide reliable, scalable energy, MyEnergy Engineering installed an off-grid system with 11.62kW of solar, roof-mounted on the home and shed. Key components include a Victron MultiPlus-II inverter, Victron SmartSolar and a Cerbo GX. The system features 14.2kWh of Pylontech battery in an expandable cabinet, allowing up to four additional batteries for easy future upgrades.
With years of experience, MyEnergy Engineering deliver tailored power systems for residential, commercial and agricultural needs, designed with the flexibility to grow. This Tooperang project highlights our expertise in creating high-performance, adaptable systems that support a modern, off-grid lifestyle.
