Bibaringa, located on the northern outskirts of Adelaide, offers the best of both worlds. It provides the upside of beautiful rural views while still being within easy reach of the Adelaide CBD and its amenities. Despite its proximity to the city, the location is beyond the reach of the power grid, making an off-grid energy solution the only option.
The MyEnergy Engineering team were brought in to design and install a custom off-grid energy system that will provide the property owner with a dependable power supply for years to come. The system installed at Bibaringa includes 12.32kW of Trina Solar Panels, which are roof-mounted on a newly constructed shed. The power system also includes a Victron Quattro 48/10000 inverter, housed within the shed. Along with the inverter, the system includes a Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200 charge controller, ensuring the solar array operates at maximum efficiency. To store the energy generated during the day, the system features 28.8kWh of battery storage, with existing space in the battery cabinet for an additional 4 battery units as the property’s energy needs grow.
Specialising in tailored solutions for locations where the grid won’t go, MyEnergy Engineering developed a system that seamlessly integrates solar power, battery storage and efficient power management, bringing dependable energy wherever the grid can’t reach.
